Focus Item — Statuses

Focus Guru offers you to better track your progress on a Focus Item by splitting a common "Done" status into Done and Focused.
When you decide to deprioritize a certain goal or activity, you can mark it as Cancelled.

Focus Items have 3 primary statuses:
  • Focused — when you dedicated your attention and time to a Focus Item, but you haven't completed it yet
  • Done — when you've completed your work on a Focus Item. The Focus Item will stop showing in the future
  • Cancelled — when you've decided to discontinue working on a Focus Item. The Focus Item will stop showing in the future

You can add reactions, metrics, habits, and one-off items to your Focus Items:
  • Reactions represent your emotional state, so you can better understand your feelings in relation to your Focus Items
  • Metrics help you to measure your progress and improve your productivity
  • Habits help you to form consistent behaviors to support your goals
  • One-off items are Focus Items that you only need to do once. They're available for monthly, yearly Focus Items, and Big Goals.
